Hey runner! What are you running from?

Retrospective: 4th Dec-29th Dec

What went well?

  • Managed to complete all of the scheduled runs and core strength sessions
  • Feeling stronger

What didn't go so well?

  • Possibility of injury in leg
  • Perhaps still running some sessions too fast

What have I learned?

  • I had a tendency to run too much on my forefoot - trying to correct this
  • I have more than one gear - vary the pace of runs
  • Treadmill is good for avoiding excessive impact and the rainy/cold weather

What still puzzles me?

  • Is there a need for some complete rest days?
  • Should I replace any of my running sessions with cross-training (e.g. pool running) to avoid injury?
